The summer has gone quickly, and it's hard to believe that the start of the new school year is upon us. We are very excited to reconnect with the students, teachers, and parents! We are looking forward to meeting our new families as well as welcoming back our students from last year. Above all, we are committed to providing a fresh start full of learning and fun for all!
Our priority is to keep students and staff safe while creating an engaging and supportive learning environment. The teachers and staff will continue to strengthen students' social, emotional, and behavioral learning through BIST (Behavior Intervention Support Team). As part of this process, we have developed shared expectations for our common areas of the school. We will respond to the students with grace and accountability as we grow together. Enhanced security is in place including exterior door sensors and an upgraded notification platform to keep our kids safe.
We continue to make good progress on our Outdoor Learning Center. The Science Patio and Messy Materials Area will be installed this fall. Thank you to everyone that has donated their time and money to make this vision possible.
